VAS Services Offered

VAS offers Medicare counseling and education, and Homestead Exemption assistance. Using a network of trained, certified volunteers, VAS provides free, unbiased education and counseling to seniors in Omaha and surrounding communities. VAS is continuing to serve seniors mainly by phone, but is offering some in person services.. In 2021, VAS helped 657 households save over $1.6 million in property taxes, and had over 6500 client contacts to help them save over $1.2 million in healthcare costs. VAS is a non-profit 501(c)3 located in Omaha, Nebraska.
