VAS will be offering New-to-Medicare Workshops at locations in all five counties in our service area (Douglas, Sarpy, Cass, Dodge and Washington). Dates will be listed quarterly under the county name.

Douglas County
OMAHA – 90TH & North of Dodge – New Cassel Retirement Center

| 1. All registrants must come in the main entrance and be screened for Covid-19. The screening is electronic and consists of answering questions. Screening will take only a few seconds. | ||||
| 2. Masks may or may not be optional. Location reserves the right to change mask policy at any time due to community health risks. Be prepared to wear a mask if asked. | ||||
| 3. Registrants will be directed to the elevators or stairs to come to the auditorium. The main entrance is level three. The auditorium is level two. | ||||
| 4. Registrants will exit from the North door and not have to exit through the main entrance. |

If you are unable to attend an in-person workshop, you may view a video made available by Nebraska SHIP.
Everyone’s Medicare situation is unique, and Medicare’s enrollment periods can be complicated. This video is intended to provide you with basic Medicare information and discuss situations that may impact how you insure yourself. However, it is not comprehensive, and we suggest that you contact VAS and speak with a counselor before making any Medicare decisions.
